Muscari commutatum Guss.
Perennial bulbous plant. Leaves are restricted to the plant base, while the inflorence is at the top of the leafless shoot. It occurs at low altitudes, in open stony areas with phrygana, open pine forests, olive groves and abandoned fields. Flowering takes place from February to April. The plant is quite common in Greece and has been recorded in all phytogeographical regions.
